Abraham Munoz Davalos

Abraham Munoz Davalos (age 82) went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday May 13th, he was born in Chicago, Illinois January 22, 1930 to Ninfa Munoz Davalos and Benito Davalos. He was second of three children. He met his wife of Sixty years, Maria Aurora Davalos at church in Chicago, Illinois and they were married on March 22, 1952. He worked Thirty-five years as a Machinist for McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) Long Beach Facility. He attended St Anthenasias Catholic Church in Long Beach, California for thirty years and was also involved in the Knights of Columbus. They moved to Long Beach, California in the fall of 1961 and raised nine children. After retirement they moved to Mustang, Oklahoma. Abraham is preceded in death by his parents, brother and eldest daughter, Amelia Catherine. He is survived by his wife Maria Aurora, his children Abraham Jr of Harbor City, CA, Rosemary Davalos-Rigney and Peter Rigney of PA, Roger Davalos of Long Beach, CA, Linda Davalos-Strong and Paul Strong of Moreno Valley, CA; Lupe Davalos-Sheppard and Johnny Sheppard of Mustang, Ok, Tony Davalos of Long Beach, CA, Jon Davalos of Mustang, Ok and Bobby Davalos of Arroyo Grande, CA. He leaves six grandchildren, Nina Strong-Shaw, Nathan Strong, Gabriel Rigney, Cathleen Rigney-Witt, Patrick Rigney and Nick Sheppard and six great grand children.
