Adam was born in Bay City, Texas to Raymond and Kathleen Payne. As a boy, Adam displayed an interest and love for all animals and "critters". As he grew, his love of music became the focus of his heart. He was a very talented guitarist with both acoustic and electric guitars and his favorite genre was classic rock. Adam will be remembered by his friends and family as caring, gracious and big hearted. He loved his family and was particularly close with his brothers, mom and father. Throughout his life he was a faithful and good friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, "Mema"; paternal grandfather, "Grandpa". He is survived by his parents, Ray and Kathy; his brothers, Andy Payne and Austin Payne, Austin's fiancé Aleks; maternal grandfather, James Burke; paternal grandmother, Lodell June Payne; aunts, (a quote from Adam, "I love you Aunt Tot……A Lot!") uncles, cousins and numerous other loving extended family and friends as well as beloved pets, Sam and Zach. All who will miss him terribly and who's hearts have broken from his loss.
Viewing and visitation will be from 4pm to 8pm, Monday, December 15, 2014 at the 23rd street Smith & Kernke. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the Chapel of Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
