Alan F. Wunsch, 51, Oklahoma City, passed away suddenly on July 9, 2010. Alan was born in Borger, Texas, to Alvin and Dawn Wunsch. The family moved to Shattuck and later to Buffalo. Following graduation at Buffalo High School, Alan finished Radiologic Technology school at Presbyterian Hospital in 1978. He was greatly respected in the field of cardiology for over 30 years, serving as a cardiac cathlab technologist and cardiology equipment salesman. He will be remembered best for his strong and loving devotion to his family. He married Theresa Ann Daniel, the love of his life, soul mate, and best friend on September 20, 1980. They became proud and active parents of four children, Jared Alan (27); Emily Ann (23); Eric Daniel (20); and Madeline Rae(18). Alan was greatly loved by his family and friends. He was compassionate, funny and generous. He spent years coaching and attending his kids' sports and other activities. He supported his children's dreams and nurtured their love of learning and fair play. No matter what, he was always there for them. Alan was a mentor to others through his values of love, loyalty, and respect. He held strong faith in the Catholic church, embracing it and allowing it to mold him as a Christian man, husband, father and a friend to many. He is preceded in death by his father, Alvin, and his stepfather, Lee Rogers of Buffalo. He is survived by his wife and children all of Oklahoma City; his mother, Dawn Wunsch Rogers of Mustang; sister Diana Denton and her husband, Jon, of Mustang; sister Kay Bowles and her husband, Doug, of Forgan; sister Sharon Wunsch of Mustang; 30 nieces and nephews and 22 great nieces and nephews.
