Al Shanbour, 85, passed away on October 15th 2012 after a brave and courageous battle with cancer. He was married to his beloved wife Lucy for 51 years. He is survived by his son David, wife Emily and grandson Nathan of Oklahoma City, son Darrel of Franklin, TN, daughter Lisa of Oklahoma City, his brother Mitch Shanbour and wife Linda of Wichita Kansas, In-laws, Bill and Joann Callaway, Ruby Rahill and Norma Shanbour, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Al Shanbour owned and operated a successful food brokerage in which he remained active until his passing. He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, zest for life, commitment to his faith and most importantly his love and devotion to his family. Al was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, entrepreneur, business colleague, mentor and friend who was always generous with his wisdom and resources. He will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at St. Elijah Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 15000 N. May Avenue, at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 18th, burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
