Alice Scott

Alice Marie Scott died peacefully on Aug. 11, 2013. She was born in Fostoria, TX on Oct. 30, 1912, to Valry E. and Grace Amber (Cole) Simmons. She moved to Edmond from Hallettsville, TX in 1993 and endeared herself to countless friends with her kindness and joyful spirit. A devout Christian, she rejoiced in each day. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Duwain (Scotty) Scott, eight siblings, and one granddaughter. Alice is survived by her daughter, Margaret Mason and her husband, Harry; two grandsons, Scott Mason, Springfield, MO and Tyler Mason and his wife, Gina and their daughter, Mia, all of Yukon, OK. The family wishes to thank the Bradford Village staff and Sooner Hospice for their compassionate care.
