Allee Jane Harrison

Allee Jane Harrison, our sweet mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, Nanny and friend went home to Heaven on August 31, 2017. Allee was the first born of two children to the late Dewey and Dessa Ely on July 1, 1923, in Beggs, Oklahoma, where she was raised and attended High School and awarded Homecoming Queen. After high school, Allee moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma where she married Daniel Frank Harrison, Sr. on August 19, 1945. They had two children, Joy Lee and Daniel Frank, Jr. Allee was a loving mother and homemaker for the better portion of her life. She loved being Nanny to five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed working at Aberson's Clothing Store in Tulsa for many years. In 1993, Allee moved to Oklahoma City. Allee enjoyed reading, in particular, books on the Kennedy Family. She also liked keeping up with the current events of the world by faithfully watching her favorite news commentators. Allee enjoyed watching golf as well, her favorite golfer being Tiger Woods. Allee was preceded in death by her parents and husband, her beloved brother Bob Ely and her first born child, Joy Lee Hatch. She was a beautiful woman inside and out with a loving spirit and a great sense of humor. All of us were blessed to have known sweet Allee - Nanny - and although she will be missed so much, it's comforting and joyful to know that we will someday be reunited with her in Heaven.
