Amy Vance Lasater

Amy was born in Carthage, MO. She moved with her family to Oklahoma City in 1976. Amy graduated from Midwest City High School and received her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Southwest State University. She then attended Oklahoma City University where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree. Amy was currently the business office manager at Metal Designs. She loved horses and competed as a barrel racer while in college and continued riding in rodeos after college. Amy was one of the kindest people you will ever meet and was loved by many. She passed away suddenly at her home. She is survived by her mom, Marilyn Bridges of Austin, TX; her dad, Denny Vance of Norman; brother, David Vance of Minneapolis, MN; and her best friend since 6th grade, Tiffany. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home 23rd Street Chapel.
