Tony was born in Oklahoma City the son of Anton and Hazel Vrana and passed away in Oklahoma City. Tony was raised in Okla. City and graduated from St. Gregory's High School in 1954 before he was drafted into the Army. Once drafted, he was sent to Germany which only fueled his desire to travel. After his brief military service he returned to Oklahoma where he graduated from University of Central Oklahoma with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Math and Physics. He married Fay Montroy on Aug. 6, 1960 in Oklahoma City. He worked for Western Electric and the Government for many years living in Maryland, Spain, and Louisiana. Tony retired as the Associate Inspector General for the Department of Energy in 1995. He had a passion for cruises and would leave at a moment's notice if there was a deal available. He looked forward to solving the world's problems during his daily men's locker room discussion group at the Green's Country Club. Tony would never miss a Sunday brunch with his family, grandchildren and friends. He is survived by his wife of the home; two sons, Vince Vrana (Pam), and Brian Vrana (Hope); four grandchildren, Karsten, Kloie, Blake and Carlin Vrana; one sister, Joanne Erwin and one brother, Robert Vrana. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel.
