Arlene Mcintire

Arlene was born Sept. 28, 1919 in Elgin, OK, the 5th of six children born to Ross and Minnie Choens. She was a graduate of Elgin High School, Blackwood Davis Business College and Oklahoma City University. Prior to her retirement in 1981, she was employed by the Department of Vocation Rehabilitation, State Department of Education and the Department of Human Services.Arlene was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she participated in Mobile Meals, the Spark program for children and Ruth's Circle.Her community activities included the Oklahoma City Art Museum, Salvation Army Auxiliary, Oklahoma City Republican Women and the Orchestra League. She was a member of P.E.O., Chapter E.She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, one brother and her husband, Milton McIntire. She is survived by many caring nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be Saturday, June 6, 2020, at 2p.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park.
