Barbara Belle Maroney

Barbara Belle Maroney, aka, "Buckshot" was born October 16, 1920 and passed away May 17, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She leaves behind cherished family and friends. She is survived by her son Everett Allen (Mike) Maroney, daughter Debra L Konieczny, their spouses Marion Frances Maroney and The Right Reverend Dr. Edward J. Konieczny, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Barbara survived her husband Everett T. Maroney both of who were WWII veterans having served as aviation machinist mates in the U.S. Navy. Though most will remember her sense of humor, others will simply need to glance around their home for the loving gifts she either crocheted or knitted especially for them. She was always the first to greet a newcomer to her beloved St Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, which meant you were a recipient of a warm smile and a heartfelt hug. She will be missed by all who knew her and blessed by her gracious presence. Fair winds and following seas Sailor, your watch has been relieved. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 22nd, 10 AM at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, Oklahoma City. Memorials may be made to St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church.
