Barbara Stearns Levescy

Daughter of Harold Royal Brink and Willa Jeanne Wells, Barbara was a talented artist who loved her family and a collection of close friends she accumulated across the globe. Barbara's love of life, care for others, and radiance brought joy to all whom she encountered. Barbara shared the last fun filled and loving nine years with her husband Mike Levescy of Oklahoma City. The pride of Barbara's life were her children, daughter Kelley Fox, son Gerson and daughter-in-law Erica Stearns, all of Portland, Oregon. She loved telling everyone about her grandchildren Madeleine, Violet, and Navarro and most recently she was overjoyed with the arrival of her first great-granddaughter Vashti. Barbara is also survived by her beloved sister Betty and husband Mike Niemeyer of Kansas City. Barbara will be missed but her memory, spirit, and light will continue to brighten the lives of all those who knew and loved her for all time to come. A celebration of her life and art will be held in January 2017. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the arts program of your local public school in Barbara's memory.
