Bernadette Cecelia Koelsch

Bernadette Cecelia Koelsch was born March 7, 1934 in Wichita Falls, Texas to the late Clarence B. and Roberta Otto Koelsch, died January 23, 2014, at the age of 79. She spent her childhood primarily in Oklahoma City graduating from Catholic High School (now Bishop McGuinness) in 1951. She went on to complete nurses training in Tulsa at St. John's Hospital eventually settling back in Oklahoma City completing a career of over 30 years at Saint Anthony's Hospital where she continued to do volunteer work after her retirement in 1993. Bernadette was a longtime member of Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her brother, Clifford J. Koelsch. She is survived by her niece, Julia Wilson, and nephews, Vincent M. Koelsch and Victor M. Koelsch. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, at the Resurrection Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
