Betty Marie Anderson

Betty Marie Halbison (Pike) Anderson was born on November 17, 1926 in Lawton, Oklahoma the daughter of Francis Xavier and Lola Mae (Lee) Halibson. She died on Feb. 6, 2012 in Oklahoma City. Betty was raised in Lawton and graduated from St. Mary's High School as the Valedictorian of her class. She attended Our Lady of the Lake College in San Antonio, TX and St. Anthony School of Nursing in Oklahoma City. She will be greatly missed by her entire family. She loved her children very much and made their happiness the main focus of her life. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Betty is survived by two daughters, Karen Mataranglo (Frank); Beth Jackson (Jimmie); four sons, Steve Pike (Nancy), Kevin Pike (Susan), Shaun Pike & Mark Pike (Lisa); eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Francis & David Halbison. The family would like to thank Frontier Hospice, especially Puyu, Lisa and Angela for their outstanding care.
