Bettye Emma Schwartz

Bettye Norris Schwartz was born October, 20, 1921 in Oklahoma City to Tobe R. Flomar and Mary Eva Grice. She died December 17, 2010 in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Classen High School in 1940 and was married to William B. (Bill) Norris from Valentine's Day, 1942 until his death in 1970. Bettye was married to Leonard N. Schwartz from 1975 until his death. Bettye was a member of Jaycee Jane's, Ladies Music Club, the Rotary Ann's, Desk & Derrick and the Classen Alumni Association. She was preceded in death by her parents and six older siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Norris Carter, husband, Bob, son Jon Norris, grandchildren, Amy Norcom of Portland, OR, Sallye Carter of Oklahoma City, Julie Norris Provine and husband, John of Pearland, TX, Drs. Erick and Yolanda Backus of Travis A.F. Base, CA plus many, many nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to express its gratitude to the Thompson family and all of the staff at Bellevue Health & Rehabilitation Center for their loving care over the past four years.
