Beverly Snyder-Reed

Beverly Snyder-Reed passed away on November 9, 2014, after a two-year stay at a nursing home in Springfield, Missouri. Born Beverly Ann Gulley in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1939, she received a master's degree in social work at the University of Oklahoma in 1972. She worked as a counsellor in Oklahoma City. In 1990 she moved to Springfield, Missouri, and worked at various firms and in private practice, mainly counseling youths and children. She is survived by her husband, Robert Reed, of Springfield, and by two children, two grandchildren and a brother, all of whom live in Oklahoma. A Memorial Service will be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Saturday, November 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Smith and Kernke Chapel, located at 14624 N. May Ave. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Beverly's name be made to the World Wildlife Fund. http://www.worldwildlife.org
