Billy Jack Munn

Billy Jack Munn born was born in Eldorado, AR and died in OKC. He received a BS from NESU and a MS from Arkansas. Billy was a Navy veteran, Non-Destructive Testing Engineer for North American Rockwell- Gemini, Saturn, Apollo, Space Shuttle. He received countless medals including two Snoopy awards in the shuttle program. Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Rose; brother, Richard (Sue); and parents, Leon and Bessie. He is survived by son, David (Heather) of Edmond; grandchildren, Luke, Evelyn, and Drake; brother, James (Paula) of Sand Springs; sister, Mary Battenfield (Harold) of Tulsa. Billy was a member of Church of the Madalene Parish in Tulsa and St. Monica (KoC) in Edmond. He enjoyed golf, fishing, and astronomy. Two of Billy's favorite quotes were "Probably be all right" and "There are two things that happen when you get old…and I forgot 'em both". He was most selfless caring father, grandfather, brother, son, friend of all time. Everyone who has known my father knows his loving nature. Visitation will begin at 9 am on Wed., Apr. 24, followed by an Evening Prayer Service at 6 pm at Smith and Kernke Chapel – N. May. Mass will be at 10 am on Thurs., Apr. 25, at St. Monica Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Danville, KS at 3pm.
