Jack Orr, 78, loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather departed this earth for eternal life Tuesday, January 18th. He graduated from Crooked Oak High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He then began a long career in sales including Fuller Brush and Borden's Milk. He worked with long time friend Ken Royse at B&K Marine and concluded his career selling cars and doing dealer trades. Jack is survived by his wife Dolores and children Theresa Rogers/John, Nannette Taylor/Ty, Brian Orr/Diane, Greg Orr/Shelly and Joseph Orr. Also his brother Bob Orr and sister Fern Flynn; 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank our neighbors Carolyn, Carol, Judy and Alex for their many acts of kindness and the staff at Excell Hospice for their loving care. An Evening Prayer Service will be Sunday, January 23rd at 6:30 p.m. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 1901 NW 18th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rosary School or the American Cancer Society.
