Billye Jean Biddle Nobles passed away October 21, 2015. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Billye Jean was born April 3, 1929 in Oklahoma City the daughter of William and Evelyn Young Biddle. She attended grade school in Oklahoma City prior to moving to Washington DC with her family for a couple of years where she attended Chevy Chase school in Maryland. The family later returned to Oklahoma City where she graduated from Classen High School. Billye Jean lived in beautiful Bermuda for two and a half years. She became permanent civil service and was an administrative assistant at Tinker Air Force Base where she met the love of her life and soul mate, Lieutenant Colonel Paskell Nobles. They had a wonderful 47 years together before he passed away in 2004. She and Paskell returned to Oklahoma City after many years in California. They were both delighted to be back in Oklahoma. Billye enjoyed bridge with several groups. She was a member of the Oklahoma Hospitality Club, The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary, Ladies Music Club of Oklahoma City, and Hot Shot Investment Club. Billye Jean was also a member of Retired Officer's association, Redbud Women's Club, and Military Officers Association of America. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Paskell, son Kim Lewis Efflandt, step-son Gil Nobles, granddaughter Karen Elizabeth McKim and great grandson Braden Crumb. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Carol and Robert Manning; step-son Don Nobles and wife Rhonda; daughter-in-law Shan Nobles; grandchildren, Leigh-Ann and husband Matthew Crumb; Scott and wife Sarah McKim; Shelly and husband Brad Leaf; Misty and husband Dennis Caplinger and Kenneth Manning and multiple great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel.
