Blake Edward Naifeh, age 37, was received into his Heavenly Home unexpectedly on May 10th, 2016. Born the second child of Eulene Naifeh Dugger and Frank Edward Naifeh in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Blake was a 1998 graduate from Bishop McGuiness Catholic High School. He received his Bachelor's of Political Science in 2002 from Oklahoma State University. He used this degree to pursue his career with Stryker Spine as a management level sales representative. He was well loved and respected for his hard work and dedication by all of his colleagues. Blake's passions in life included his faith, his career, and most importantly, his loving family; his wife Stephanie, daughter Stella and son Cy. An adored son, loving husband, cherished father and perfect brother, Blake's beautiful spirit and energy allowed him the privilege to impact many lives. He never once met a stranger and upon meeting him, you were a cherished friend forever. As a member of Quail Creek Golf and Country Club, he was known for his love of golf and his mile long drives. Blake will be remembered in our hearts forever for his joyous, charismatic spirit, his bright smile, and overall love for life.
Blake is preceded in death by his loving maternal grandparents, Johanna Dorothy and Elmer Eule Johnson Sr., of Arkansas, adored paternal grandparents, Virginia Janet and Edward Joseph Naifeh, of Oklahoma City, and maternal Aunt Carlene Johanna Ewing of Arkansas.
Blake is survived by his beautiful wife, Stephanie Gannon Naifeh, daughter Stella Laith and son Cy Edward. Mother, Eulene Naifeh Dugger and husband Rick. Father, Frank Edward Naifeh and wife Saundra all of Edmond, OK. Loving Sister Danielle Nicole Cronic and husband Chad, Nieces: Elyse Merrit, Avary Maryn, and Brynn Nicole all of Edmond. Brother-in-law, Ryan James Gannon and wife Samantha of Louisiana. Step-sister Kristina Nicholls and husband Trafton, Nieces: Kylie and Paige of Arizona. Step-brother Richey Dugger of Arizona. Grandmother in law, Barbara Gannon of California. Paternal uncle, Dr. George J. Naifeh, wife Stacey, and son Barrett of Oklahoma City. Maternal Aunts and Uncles Mary Beth Sipes and husband Rusty of Texas, Judith Ann Burris-Mueller and husband Jason of Arkansas, Elmer Eule Johnson, Jr. and wife Toni of Arkansas, Johanna Renee Huffman and husband James of Arkansas. John Ewing, JoAnn and Al Spence, Louis and Ann Schmoll, Bernadine Mitchell, and John and Cathy Schmoll. First cousins: Matthew, Jessica, Amanda, Ben, Trey, Nathan, Hunter, Hannah, and Heath as well as many extended family, friends, and brother's and sister's in golf and medicine. His compassion for his friends and family were exemplified by the words of his friend and colleague "Life is too short, be there for one another, don't hesitate to talk to one another, Blake would want that." Evening Prayer Service will take place on Friday at 7pm at Christ the King Catholic Church (8005 Dorset Drive, Oklahoma City, Ok. 73120). Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday morning at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church. Memorials donations can be made with love in Blake's name to, Christ the King Catholic Church, Deer Creek Schools Foundation and OU Medical Center Hope Fund.
