Bob C. Young, 68, died peacefully in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born February 18, 1950 in Oklahoma City to BB and Georgia (Sexson) Young. He attended John Marshal High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Central State University in 1974. He served in the 95th US Army Reserves from 1969 to 1974. Bob began his medical career in 1974 in Phoenix, Arizona. Shortly afterward Bob joined Codman and Shurtleff as a sales representative in Kansas City, Kansas. His sales accomplishments quickly earned him new assignments that led him to Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; and Dallas, TX. While in Dallas, Bob began to launch new medical companies and took great pleasure in developing successful start-up companies. He was a successful businessman helping to develop businesses and mentoring and training countless people who went on to become successful themselves. Bob's work gave him great pleasure in working with physicians who transformed the lives of disfigured patients. One of Bob's passions was traveling to places such as Europe, Canada and Costa Rica. He spent many vacations in Vail, CO with family and friends. His true passion was snorkeling in the tropical waters of the Caribbean and Hawaii. He was united in marriage to Cathy Harris, May 24, 1975 at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. One of his proudest accomplishments was his beloved daughter, Kelly. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Cathy, of Edmond, OK; daughter, Kelly, of Dallas, TX; his brother, David (Diane), of Edmond, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents. His family is especially grateful for his loving caregivers, Jennti Redmond, Quenisha Pearson, and the Daily Living Center of Edmond, OK.
