Bob Thompson

Bob Thompson, 63, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2017 in Oklahoma City after a sudden illness. Bob was born to Larry and Shirley Thompson and lived all of his life in Oklahoma City. He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1972. Shortly thereafter, he joined the family business where he worked for over 40 years. After his Dad retired in 2006, Bob became Owner of Capitol Stage Equipment Company. Family and friends were important to Bob. He enjoyed spending time with the "Debarians", cars, motorcycles, and watching OU football. Bob is survived by Jennifer Thompson, daughter; Shirley Thompson, mother; Sharon Myers (Dan), sister; Susan Rupe (Kevin), sister; Julie Miller, faithful companion; and nieces & nephew and their families. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Larry Thompson. A wake service will be held on Tuesday, September 26th at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, N. May Chapel, at 7:00 p.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27th at Christ the King Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
