Bonnie Faye Barnes

Bonnie Faye Barnes was born in Pauls Valley, OK. She grew up riding and loving horses and truly being a free spirit. As a child she developed her lifelong love of animals. After graduating from Pauls Valley High School she married and devoted herself to raising four children. Bonnie loved music, dancing, and playing the piano and talking and laughing with all of her family. Most of all she loved to travel and enjoy good food. Her favorite place was New Orleans and she has spent countless hours wandering the streets of the French Quarter, sitting in Jackson Square, dancing in the streets and Pat O'Brien's, and hanging out in coffee shops. She is preceded in death by her mother and father Carnie and Ruth Barnes, her baby Monte Rebel, and brother-in-law Jim Pharaoh. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Melody H. Gallamore-Estrada and Otto Estrada and granddaughter Sophia who will miss her "Ma" very much; daughter and son-in-law Dr. Monica Gallamore and Stanford Lester; long time companion and friend Glen Lester; son and daughter-in-law Mike and Jeni Gallamore; daughter Connie Gallamore Williams; sister and brother-in-law Betty and Floyd Baugh; twin brother Carnie Barnes; niece and her husband Shannon and Shannon May and their daughter Starr; nephew Nick Pharaoh; niece Sonja Price; nephews Carnie Barnes and Mannix Barnes; and numerous grandchildren. She brought much laughter and fun to those around her and will be missed every day. But as she would say: Laissez les bon temps rouler! Family will receive guests Sun. Sept. 30 at Smith and Kernke 1401 NW 23rd from 6-7 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Funeral mass is Mon. Oct. 1 at 10 am at Little Flower Church 1125 S.
