Brandon Scott Powell

Brandon Scott Powell passed away too soon on October 27, 2015. He was born August 26, 1977, in Lubbock, TX, the son of Ledlie and Danette Powell. He graduated from Putnam City North High School in 1995 and then attended Oklahoma University where he completed his degree from the Aviation Department in 1999. His first job was as a flight instructor at OU Aviation. He then worked at Express Jet Airlines from 2000-2006 and was currently a pilot for United Airlines based in Houston, TX. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Kristen Ann (Philpott) Powell; children, Andrew Scott Powell, Audrey Rose Powell and Connor Philpott; his parents, Ledlie and Danette; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Adam Morris and their daughter, Hallie; and his father and mother -in-law, John and Barbara Philpott. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2015, at Spring Creek Baptist Church.
