Brenda Kaye Rivas

Brenda Kaye Rivas passed peacefully from this life in the arms of her loving husband on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. Brenda was born in Ada, Oklahoma on November 1, 1951 to Wanda and Kenneth Puckett. Brenda married Ryland Rivas on August 17, 1968 and had two children: Ryland Rivas II and Meredith Brockman. Brenda was a graduate of Lawton High School and the University of Oklahoma Dental Hygiene program; working many happy years caring for the dental health of her own family and her patients in the dental office. Brenda is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Puckett; her mother, Wanda Kroeker; and her father-in-law, Louis Rivas. She is survived by her husband, Ryland; her son and his wife, Ryland Rivas II and Heather Rivas of Chickasha, OK; her daughter and her husband, Meredith and Matt Brockman of Tuttle, OK; 7 grandchildren; 2 sisters Darlene Whitten and Theresa Atterberry and their husbands; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brenda's family is planning a private memorial service per her wishes.
