Bruce, 86, a beloved husband, father and grandfather died peacefully at home Friday, December 8, 2017 in Oklahoma City, OK. Bruce was born January 11, 1931 to Louis G. and Ruth A. Feiertag of Cincinnati, OH where he was raised with his sister, Patricia Ann (Weber), deceased. He graduated Tau Beta Pi from Georgia Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in engineering. In 1956, he married his wife of 61 years, Joyce Barrows Feiertag in Niagara Falls, NY. Bruce and Joyce had 3 sons - James Andrew, William Kent and Thomas Allen. In 1959, Bruce joined the Fife Corporation in Oklahoma City initiating a career in web handling of nearly 50 years. He was instrumental in establishing the Web Handling Research Center at OSU in 1986. He was a devoted member of St. Eugene's Catholic Church. Bruce was a dearly loved spouse, a cherished father and grandfather, a treasured teacher, and a helluva engineer. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; 2 children - Bill, in Oklahoma City, and Jim who lives with his wife LeeAnn in Tallahassee, FL; one grandchild, Steven who considered him his mentor and role-model and lives in Oklahoma City, and 3 step grandchildren, Ian Carlton White who lives with his wife, Lisa and 2 children, Camryn and Brenna in Tallahassee, FL; Andrew Leland White who lives with his 3 children Melanie, Lawson and Leland in Thomasville, GA; Jessica Ann Sellers who lives with her husband, Roderick and 2 children Dorothy and Hitchens in Atlanta, GA.
