Carmeline "Mimi" Callicott

Carmeline (Mimi) Reina Callicott was born on August 7, 1939 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Angelo and Catherine Reina. She passed away on May 9, 2016 in Edmond, OK. Mimi, which was her nickname from the age of three, was raised in Lynwood, California. She is survived by husband Cecil of Edmond, OK; daughter, Denise and grandson Zack Frantz of Choctaw, OK; daughter, Darla Callicott of Yukon, OK; daughter, Donna Callicott-Razdan and son-in-law Abhi Razdan of Edmond, OK; son, Ray Callicott and Anna Willis and their children Chastity and Tatum of Edmond, OK. She is also survived by her sister MaryRose Canzone of Fountain Valley, CA; brother, Larry Reina and wife Madeline of Diamond Bar, CA and sister Angi Buchanan and husband Bob of Buena Park, CA. On May 20, 1961, Cecil and Mimi were married and moved to Oklahoma City, OK and later to Choctaw, OK where they would raise their family. Mimi was a selfless person who did everything for her family. She was an excellent cook, baker and seamstress. She opened her home to any of her children's friends who were in need. She never turned away any of the stray dogs or cats the kids would bring home. Mimi always had music playing in the home and instilled in her children their love for music. Thank you to the fine folks at Good Shepherd Hospice, especially Mary, Larry and Dao and to Linda Tiger & Liane Spotts for taking such good care of our mother. Mom, we hope you are enjoying your reunion with your beloved parents and our precious Sparky in heaven.
