Carol died peacefully in her sleep following a short illness.Carol was born in Oklahoma City to Leon Charles Perkins and Betty Ann Eufinger Perkins. She was the first of four daughters and deeply loved by her family throughout her life. Carol was raised in Oklahoma City, but lived 5 years in Atlanta, Georgia, where she began her early education. The family moved back to Oklahoma City in 1959, and she attended Christ the King School. She went one year to McGuinness and then graduated from NW Classen High School in 1970. From there, she went one year to the University of Oklahoma before transferring to SWOSU in Weatherford, Oklahoma where she received a bachelor's degree of Science in Psychology in 1974. She later studied for her master's degree from Southern Nazarene University.Carol loved to travel and enjoyed sharing stories of her many adventures abroad. She was an avid reader, an accomplished artist, and spoke several languages. She enjoyed arranging flowers, painting, and all things French. She had a long career as an executive assistant with AT&T in Oklahoma City. Carol's passion was helping people and animals. She taught Sunday School at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. Following her retirement, she served as a hospital aid, substitute teacher, and tutor. Carol had a heart for adopting dogs and cats and was a volunteer with the humane society. She could often be found feeding the birds and ducks at local parks. Carol loved shopping for a good bargain and was always armed with a load of unique treasures that she freely and frequently bestowed on her family and friends. Carol loved to sing and had a beautiful voice. She enjoyed watching movies with her son, Ricky, and always said that his house was her favorite restaurant. Carol will be deeply missed by her family and her many lifelong friends. Carol is survived by her son, Ricky Dill (Jacquelyn), and beloved grandson, Charles Zachary ("Chaz") Dill; sisters Joan Benson (Mel), Kitty Perkins, Patty Eikelman (Steve), and numerous nephews, great nephews and one great niece. Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Smith & Kernke on North May Ave, OKCMass of Christian Burial, Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11:00 am at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, OKC, followed by graveside service at Resurrection Cemetery, NW Expressway,
