Carolyn Frances Stingley Pearce, passed away early Friday morning December 12, 2014. She was born in Oklahoma City, OK on December 11, 1928 to Roy Fletcher Stingley and Eula Kernek Stingley. She graduated from Enid High School where she was a cheerleader and a member of Kappa Kappa social club. She attended Oklahoma A&M College where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. In 1951 she married John Benjamin Pearce Jr. of Oklahoma City. She worked for W.R. Johnson, the Oklahoma County Attorney's office, the law firm of Harrod, Harrod and Stringer, and retired from the Oklahoma State Capital. John and Carolyn enjoyed going to Lake Eufaula with family and friends, playing bridge with her lifelong sorority sisters, and was a fierce domino player. In her later years she traveled with her daughter's family, watched Oklahoma State Cowboy football, and Oklahoma City Thunder basketball games. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and great granddaughter, Brianna Jacklyn Bobier. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Pearce Bobier and husband Richard; and two grandsons, Brian Bobier and wife Jill, and Michael Bobier and wife Christina. A service will be held at Smith & Kernke on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, 7:00 p.m. , 14624 North May Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (cancer research), 825 N.E. 13th, Oklahoma City, OK 73104
