Casey Lynn Scott

Casey was born August 27, 1984 to Sara and Bob Scott. She is survived by her precious 4-year-old son, Kolby Michael Townsend. She also leaves behind parents, Denny and Sue Wehba, along with Sandy Gore. Siblings include Crystal Calfy, Jessica Scott, Jarrett McCreery, Ashley Armstrong, Tyler Armstrong, Kellie Close and Darren Burns. Casey's devoted aunts, Susan Clear and Sally Grace, along with countless nieces and nephews will miss her dearly. Casey worked at TLC Daycare in Piedmont, OK. She was passionate about her job as she loved children and had a warmth and compassion that drew children to her. Casey's beautiful smile could brighten anyone's day. Her personality was infectious and she had a tremendous impact on the lives of those around her. She leaves behind numerous friends who grieve the tragic loss of such a young woman. Casey's greatest joy was being a mother and she devoted her whole life to Kolby. He will forever remember the special bond they shared. We are encouraged knowing that Casey is home with Jesus and that we will see her again in Heaven. A celebration of her life will be held at Newchurch, 9201 N. Rockwell Ave, Saturday, March 2 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 N. May Ave, Friday, March 1 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the scholarship fund set up in Kolby Townsend's name at any BancFirst.
