Cecilia Sue Hopkins passed away on December 24, 2016 at the age of 67 in Oklahoma City, OK. CeCe or Ces by her closet friends and family was born on July 14, 1949 in Oklahoma City, OK to Jack and Elizabeth McAuliff. After graduating from Bishop McGuinness High School, Cecilia attended Eastern Oklahoma State College where she earned an Associates of Arts degree and then a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Oklahoma. Cecilia was a decorated 30 year Flight Attendant for American Airlines. CeCe loved attending Mass and was a devout Catholic and strong in her faith. As a coach's wife, CeCe loved caring, cooking, and cheering for those who couldn't be with family. Her energy and positivity were infectious and could light up an entire room. That same energy and positivity transferred into resilience and toughness that helped her through her last few years. She is preceded in death by her parents; father in law Johnnie N. Hopkins; and a granddaughter Lauren Johnson. Cecilia is survived by her husband Jerry Hopkins, daughter Hayley Hopkins, son Cody Hopkins all of Huntsville, TX; daughter Melissa and husband Jim Johnson of Edmond, OK; granddaughter Addie Johnson; sister Carol and husband Rodney J. Sands; brothers James McAuliff and wife Vicky, John McAuliff and wife Terry; mother in law Betty Jo Hopkins; numerous cousins including Patricia Podolec and Mary Beadles of Oklahoma City, OK along with many nieces and nephews.
