Charlene Coffman Mcquinn

Charlene Coffman McQuinn, age 88, entered Heaven's gates on March 6, 2020. Charlene was born in Decatur, Illinois on June 20, 1931, the daughter of Noah Vern McQueen and Dorothy Josephine McQueen. Charlene loved dancing, singing, swimming and gardening. She worked for 30 years in the field of Cytology. Charlene believed her biggest blessing in life was her five children. She believed with all of her heart that family was the most important thing in life. She loved attending events of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charlene was a member of the Republican women's group as well as St. Vincent de Paul for many years. Charlene is survived by her husband, George McQuinn; her sister, Laurinda Fricke; her daughters, Mary Butler and Beverly Johnson; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a number of loving relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank all of those who prayed and cared for her during her final days. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church with burial at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
