Charles "Chuck" Edward Myers Jr. of Bethany passed quietly on Feb. 12, 2017. Chuck was born on August 30, 1956. He is preceded in death by his Father Charles Myers Sr. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Myers of Bethany, his brother, Steve Myers of Bethany, his sister, Sheri Brudner of Houston, his Aunt, Betty Buchanan of Bethany, his nieces, Melissa Rainbolt of Edmond, Melanie Yaffe of Tulsa, Mandi Myers of Mustang, Libby Brudner of Houston, Claire Brudner of Houston, Grace Brudner of Houston and nephew Henry Brudner of Houston and many great nieces, nephews and cousins. Chuck lived a simple life absent of any materialism, but Chuck was never afraid of a hard day's work. He was no pushover, nor would he stand by while someone he knew got pushed on. He was an avid fisherman. He loved spending summers at Alberta Creek, Lake Texoma where he developed a lifelong love of fishing and hunting. As Chuck grew older he took great pride in teaching the younger kids about fishing. Chuck rarely missed out on the opportunity to spend time with his loved ones; especially his mother Phyllis. Every weekend, Chuck would go get a Tim's footlong coney and a Dr. Pepper for his mother and himself. If you happened to go for ride with Chuck you got to listen to classic country or classic rock, but you would never be subjected to new country, because that just isn't country music. Chuck was a fierce patriot. He was proud of his cousin Kyle Card for serving our country in the U.S.M.C. Chuck always stood up for what he believed in and he would never back down. If a disagreement occurred between family, he would relent only by saying, "Well then we agree to disagree." Chuck always marched to the beat of his own drum. He liked pickle juice and whiskey drinks, old Westerns, especially Bonanza, and Remington Park. He was rich in the love of his family and he had a huge heart. We say goodbye to a simple man, a loved man, a humble man, a good man. He will be missed dearly by all who were privileged to know and love him. We love you Chuck, always.
