Charles worked in the flooring business for over 40 years and was known for his enthusiasm for making deals and knack for solving problems. He was a 32 year friend of Bill W. A lifelong resident of Oklahoma, Charles enjoyed watching the city grow and prosper. As a sports fan, he loved welcoming Thunder basketball to Oklahoma City and tuned in to every game to cheer on his team. Charles has an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Charles is survived by his wife, Dolly; daughter, Diane Ice and husband, Rex; grandson, Andrew Davis and wife, Katie; great-grandsons, Gabe and Brody Davis. Friends, family, and others whose lives Charles touched are invited to celebrate his life at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home (14624 N May Ave) on Wednesday, April 25 at 10 a.m. Donations may be made in his name to the National MS Society. Charles' smile was contagious. His heart was pure. Above all, his zeal for life could never be contained.
