Charles Edwin Clift

Charles Edwin Clift 83 of Edmond, Oklahoma went to be with his Lord on May 8, 2014. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Charles was born on June 10, 1930 in Tuskahoma, Oklahoma to Don and Nota Clift. He retired from OG&E in 1988 after 37 years of service. He was a beloved husband, father, grand and great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Above all, he loved God and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; two sisters and a daughter, Linda Sharon Cory. Survivors include his wife of 63 years Coleen (Barten) Clift; son Edwin Lee Clift and wife Monica; two granddaughters Angela Vaughn and husband Heath, Megan Stone and husband Austin; and 3 great grandchildren Hallie Vaughn, Aidan Vaughn and Maxlee Stone; two brothers Don and Bob Clift and one sister Thad Mikles. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday May 16, 2014 at Smith & Kernke 14624 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
