Charles Eugene Cobb Jr., 88, died Sept. 27, 2010, in Oklahoma City. He was born June 27, 1922, in Nowata, OK, the son of Charles Randolf Cobb Sr. and Geneva Mae Tate Cobb. He grew up in Bartlesville, later coming to Oklahoma City. He graduated from Central High School and entered the US Navy. He served as a Sonar Man during WWII. He married Thelma Walker on Jan. 24, 1945. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base for over 42 years and retired from the Department of Material Management. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Thelma. Survivors include two sons, Alan Cobb of Texas and Daryl Cobb of Oklahoma City; three grandsons, Daryl Jr., Trevor, and Justin and one great-granddaughter, Autumn.
