Charles Robert Hendrick

Charles Robert "Bob" Hendrick, age 78, passed away on Monday, April 4, 2011. "Pop" was a lifelong learner and voracious reader. He especially enjoyed researching Lincoln and American History. While at OSU, he played basketball for Coach Henry Iba from 1951-1954, and remained a rabid OSU basketball fan. Bob always felt the drive to encourage education. He helped put all four grandchildren through college, as well as many OCU students he never met. He was a Rotary Club #29 Paul Harris Fellow, and OK Bar Association member; President of Collins-Dietz-Morris, and T.B. Hendrick and Assoc. His wife, Helen Jo, predeceased him, and as committed Christians, they were 50+-year members of St. Luke's UMC, and the Wedding Ring class. Survivors include Patty, Charlie and Daniel Hunt, Midwest City; Bob Hendrick, Tulsa; Barry and Susan, Ryan and Allison Williams of Plano, Texas.
