Charles Shannon

Charles Glenn Shannon died July 11th, 2013 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born August 20th 1935 and was a native from Syracuse, New York. He was an honorably discharged Paratrooper from the 101st Airborne. Charles was very proud and honored to serve as an Army Paratrooper. He also retired from AT&T. He is survived by his devoted and loving companion Joan Jarvis of Oklahoma City; his children, Deborah Jacob, Charles Shannon, Jr., Barbara Breski and Elizabeth Mahle. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles is preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Yandeau; one sister, Nancy Rockdashil; and two brothers, Ronald and Harry Shannon. He will be remembered, missed, and loved by his family and friends.
