Clarence Eugene Mullins peacefully passed away July 24, 2011, at the age of 84. He was born September 15, 1926, to John Loudon and Ethel Mae Mullins in Kiefer, OK and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School, Mt. Carmel, IL, in 1944. Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army while in the South Pacific in WWII and was a member of the Greatest Generation. After returning, he met the love of his life, Emma Jeanne Schaffer, while working for Gulf Oil in Mt. Pleasant, MI. During their 59 years together, they resided in Shawnee, OK. He considered his greatest joy and accomplishment to be his family.
A 1953 graduate of OBU, Clarence had a private accounting firm in Shawnee until his retirement. He celebrated his love of the Lord at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Rosemary Maxine Powell.
He is survived by his wife; his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Robbie Mullins, Tecumseh, OK; his daughters and son-in-law: Jeffery Anne Mullins, OKC; Mary Mullins and Scott Boyd, OKC; his brother, John Richard Mullins, McKinney, TX and three grandchildren, Chance Mullins, Kongsberg, Norway; Tera Mullins, Tecumseh, OK and Jackson Boyd, OKC.
