Claudette Theimer died August 15, 2014, at age 81. She was born in Seminole, OK, November 14, 1932, the only child of Zack Trigg and Dahlia Spivey Trigg and kept fond memories of growing up in Pratt, KS. She loved animals, and through her teen years kept a horse in the backyard she rode daily around the OKC Zoo. On her first day in band class at Northeast High School she met the love of her life Raymond Theimer. Flipping her hair he said "Hi Bangs," which started a 61-year ride of a lifetime. Musical and active, she was a cheerleader and played several instruments in the band, OCU Orchestra and the famous Kiltie Band of OKC before graduating in 1950. She attended OU and was a member Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She married Raymond in 1953. Their Edmond home became known for a place of great fun and great parties. Creative, loving and tough, she was the quintessential hostess, loved Christmas, supported her children's activities, was always trying some "concoction" in the kitchen and was active in her church. She is preceded in death by husband Raymond; son Martin, and leaves daughter JoDahl Creech, husband Joe, grandson Cody Theimer; great granddaughter Taryn; son Trigg Theimer, wife Kristy; and dog Katy. The family would like to thank the staff at the OK Heart Hospital for the exceptional care for Claudette.
