Clement Blaise Lepak was born in Oklahoma City to John and Martha Lepak. He earned the rank of Corporal in the US Army during World War II, and later, a Bachelors of Science in Engineering Physics from the University of Oklahoma. He did oil field work in Saudi Arabia, Louisiana, Arkansas, Venezuela, and Bolivia. He returned to Oklahoma City and was employed by Western Electric Manufacturing (AT&T), retiring in 1989. He earned a MBA from OCU, and a PhD in Business Administration from OU. He was also a college professor and a farmer. Clem is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rita Schott, sons Mark (and Linda), Craig (and Theresa), Keith, daughter Nicole (and Gary) Capps. Grandchildren are Sarah, Billy (and Jenna), Benjamin, Bobby (and Paige), Brian, Christina, Matthew, Anthony Lepak, Kylie, Garrett, Bethany, and Jillian Capps. Great-grandchildren are Will and Cate Lepak. He is also survived by sisters Annie Davis, Theresa Palmer, and Delores Crudup, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Denise, two brothers, and four sisters. Clem was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Thunderbird Pioneers. He took an active role in this parish and community, serving on many boards over the years. He will be remembered as a man of keen intellect, love of faith and family, good humor, and loyalty to the OU Sooners. For those wishing to make donations, his favorite charities are St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Catholic Charities, the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City Seminarians, and St. Vincent DePaul. Visitation will be at Smith & Kernke on North May on Monday, February 6 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. An Evening Prayer Service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Tuesday, February 7 at 10 a.m., both liturgies will be at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
