Cleo Faye Mazza peacefully passed from this life on December 19, 2021 at age 85. She was born October 2, 1936 and raised in Butte, Montana. Cleo graduated from Butte High School in 1954 and attended the University of Montana where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and a Sweetheart of Sigma Chi. She met the love of her life, James A. Mazza in 1960. They were wed on February 25, 1961 and began their 61 year journey through life. Much of Cleo's life was spent as a homemaker raising four children. Jim went to work for Conoco and the family moved to seven cities in five states from 1965 to 1974. Cleo quickly became an expert in decamping a household with four children, packing, moving and then settling the family into their next new assignment. Cleo was employed as a sales associate for C.R. Anthony & Co. for a number of years in Oklahoma City. She was an accomplished tole painter and teacher, bridge player and an avid golfer who enjoyed playing the game into her seventies. She was active in women's golf associations in Farmington, New Mexico and the Greens Country Club in Oklahoma City. Cleo was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Ercel Ceserani. She is survived by her husband Jim, sons Mark Mazza (Christy) and Jon Mazza (Tammy) of Oklahoma City, daughters Lori Eklund (Tom) of Charlottesville, VA and Jennifer Mazza of Oklahoma City, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her brother John Ceserani (Gerri) of Lake Oswego, OR along with other extended family. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her compassionate caregivers at Heritage Point OKC during her memory care. On January 6, 2022 at 1pm, a Memorial Mass will be held at St. Eugene Catholic Church. Inurnment is at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
