Clinton N. Corder (76) passed away peacefully with his wife and children present on April 1, 2018 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Clinton was born in Oberlin, KS on August 1, 1941 to Elmo and Delma Corder. He was married to Loy J. Fortin on August 14, 1961. He received his Bachelors of Science from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Kansas, a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Marquette University and an M.D. from Washington University School of Medicine.
Throughout his career, he specialized in pharmacology and internal medicine. He served on the faculties at the University of Pittsburgh, Oral Roberts University and the University of Oklahoma. He published over 300 scientific studies that contributed to medical breakthroughs. As founder of COR Clinical Research for the past 20 years, he conducted hundreds of drug trails to test new medications.
Clinton is survived by his wife, Loy J. Corder, five children, 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild: Charlene and James Strickland of Richmond, VA (John, Ashley [Gabriel, great-grandchild], Ward, Masha, Vanya), Lloyd and Patricia Corder of Pittsburgh, PA (Molly, Megan, Maura), Sabrina and Raymond Balister of Rural Valley, PA (Julian, Adrian), Jerome (J.B.) and Lisa Corder of Olathe, KS (Evan, Courtney, Madison, Luke), and Elke Corder of St. Louis, MO (Kayla, Audrey).
The family has requested consideration of their privacy and asked that no phone calls or social media posts made until after the services.
