Joy Colene Linton of Oklahoma City, OK passed from this life into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ at the age of 83. She was a dedicated employee of Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 24 years, and a proud member of the Wunagisa Chapter of the DAR. Her faith and family claimed top priority and she served both with unwavering commitment. Joy Colene was preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings and husband, Don Linton. She is survived by one son Brad, (wife Edie) Linton, Mansfield, TX, and one daughter Amy, (husband Wade) King, Piedmont, OK. Five grandchildren: Emily (husband Thomas) Lyons, Josh (wife Shelbie) Linton, Rachel Linton, Jessica (husband Heath) McClure, Jenna King, and three great grandchildren: Lydia Linton, Isaiah Linton, Elijah Lyons, and Anna Joy Linton who will arrive in January of 2021. She is also survived by one sister Pat (husband Coy) Quesenbury, Arlington, TX and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation: Nov. 29 from 4 to 6 pm at The Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City. Memorial Service: Nov. 30, 10 am at The Quail Springs Baptist Church, 14613 N. May Ave, Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to The Texas Baptist Home for Children, Waxahachie, TX.
