Dakota Brooks Buck

Our beloved son, Dakota Brooks Buck, born October 20th, 1991, passed to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009. Dakota was a senior at Deer Creek High School and proud to be a 4th generation Antler. He was a valuable member of the football, cross-country, soccer and track teams. Dakota was a passionate athlete. As a junior, he was the 5A Cross Country State Champion and as a senior, he was selected as first team All District safety. He also excelled in wake-boarding and snowboarding. Dakota was extremely vibrant and had of way of instantly lighting up a room. He was born in Edmond to Rick and Jeanie Buck. He is survived by his parents, his beloved brothers Chase and Taler, and his honorary brother, Michael, as well as his grandparents Dale and Janet Buck of Wichita, KS, and John and Patricia Ward of Edmond, OK. Dakota is also remembered with love by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dakota brightened the lives of everyone he touched and he will be deeply missed.
