Dale Linden Doerge passed away October 7, 2019, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born in Joplin, and grew up in Fidelity Corners, MO. Dale was a very gifted musician and played piano and guitar as well as having a lovely singing voice. As a young man, he played in a band called "The Embers" all around the Joplin, MO, area. Dale moved to the Oklahoma City area around 1967 working in the heat and air industry. He later began his own successful heat and air business. He loved the outdoors and being in nature; he had a green thumb and grew tomatoes for family and friends or used them in his tabbouleh recipe. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Lee Doerge; father, Claude Linden Doerge; and brother, Fred Deorge. He is survived by a brother, Ron Doerge and his wife Linda; daughters, Becky Elaine Morris (Allen), Gail Linden Butler (Randy); son, Evan Deorge (Meagan); grandchildren, Mason, Noah and their mother, Kendra Seely, Magan Smith (Greg), Clint Morris (Natalie), Trae (Ann Marie), Taylor and Tory Williams; four great grandchildren, Sophia & Emma, Addison & Jaycee, along with his former wife, friend and caregiver, Janice Doerge as well as many other friends and relatives. Visitation will be Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Smith & Kernke N. May Ave., followed by a graveside service at 12 p.m. at Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery, 14300 N. County Line Road, Oklahoma City.
