Dalton Blanche loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at his home on April 18, 2016. He was born on March 24, 1920 in Antlers, Oklahoma and was raised on a homestead in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. He grew up fishing on the Mountain Fork River and in high school guided fishing trips for tourists. This was the beginning of a work ethic that carried through his entire life. After high school, he moved to Wichita, Kansas and went to work at the Boeing Aircraft plant advancing to a supervisor position in the construction of bombers being built for World War II. It was at Boeing that he met the love of his life Marguriete ("Ginger") Klotzbach. Following their marriage, he enlisted in the Army in 1947 and was assigned to the 88th Infantry Blue Devils serving in Italy during World War II. Upon returning from the War, he attended General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan graduating with an associate's degree. He returned to Oklahoma after graduating to begin a career in the automotive industry that lasted sixty years. He worked for the same company in Oklahoma City through many sales and mergers which eventually became Bob Moore Cadillac. During their seventy years of marriage, Dalton and Ginger, and their three boys enjoyed traveling to Broken Bow to fish and to Humboldt, Kansas to the Klotzbach farm to hunt, fish and participate in the farming life. A devoted family man, he loved being a husband, father and grandfather. He and Ginger were founding members of Christ the King Catholic Church. Dalton was also a proud member of the Choctaw Indian Nation passing a respect for their Indian heritage along to his sons and grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Ginger. He is survived by his sons, Greg (Marilyn), Gary, Phil (Debbie) his grandchildren Aubrey, Josh, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Eric and Ryan and great grandchildren Ashley, Emily and Kayley.
