Danny Wayne Sudduth, 68, of Hinton, OK, passed away unexpectedly Sunday June 9, 2019. He was born April 17, 1951 in Grand Prairie, TX to Jewell L. Pool and Otha L. Sudduth. He is survived by his children John Sudduth, Rachel Sudduth, grandchildren Mara Sudduth, Luke Sudduth, sister Gloria Gurule', niece Lyric Ewing and nephew Chris Gilbert. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, sister and brother, Joyce and Gary. He lived in and around Dallas, TX area until about age 10 and then moved to Denison, TX with his mom to live with his grandmother Mrs. Fowler. He moved to Springdale, AR with his mother to work at the Welches Grape Juice company and moved back to Denison, TX in 1972. He met his future wife, Susan Havens there. He and Susan married in 1973 and then moved to Oklahoma City to be near family. In November 1982 and July 1986 his children, the light of his life, were born. He and Susan eventually divorced but remained friends for the rest of his life. In the 1980's he became co-owner of a cabin at Cedar lake with his sister. He loved Cedar Lake and became a volunteer firefighter and Secretary for the Western Sportsman Club at Cedar Lake. Danny worked over the years at Crowe Dunlevy Attorneys, Fairlawn Cemetery, Walmart and Ace Hardware before taking early retirement at the age of 62. Danny enjoyed his retirement years, which he spent at the Cabin. What he loved and treasured most was spending time with his children and grandchildren, whom he doted on. He also loved spending time with friends, playing dominos, fishing, boating, playing his trumpet, and going on cruises. Danny was especially proud of his children John and Rachel. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association in his honor. Memorial Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Smith & Kernke N. May Chapel.
