David was born in Chicago on June 5, 1960 and passed away in Edmond on Nov. 1, 2017. David served honorably with the 2854th Security Police Squad at Tinker AFB. After his wife Louise, David's first love was acting, and he grew into an excellent director and coach, even instructing children in the dramatic arts. Many will remember him for extensive, devoted services crafting a number of Christian dinner theater productions. Another love was programming and his 23-year career with especially treasured co-workers at American Fidelity.
David is survived by his grieving wife Helen Louise (Otto) Broda; brothers, Larry (Sandy), Jim (Elsie), and Mike (Heather); sister, Peggy (Mark) Gasper; aunts, Mary (Larry) Goldfaber and Irene Blaschek; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of in-laws. David was preceded in death by his parents Henry J. and Marguerite F. (Jolly) Broda. All are welcome for visitation from 5-7pm on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at the funeral home. A graveside services with military honors will be at 10am on Friday, Nov. 10th at Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK. A memorial services will be held at 2pm on Friday, Nov. 10th at Crossings Community Church Chapel. He is sorely missed now, yet our reunion is anticipated in resurrection.
