David Cooper Salter

David Cooper Salter was born July 27, 1930, in St. Petersburg, FL, and passed away on October 12, 2020. He served in the US Army. He graduated from UCLA and made a career as a geologist. His profession took him many places, but the years in Venezuela were some of the best. There, he met his wife Ellie and had 4 children, Tamsyn, Britt, Tim, and Dan. He loved his family and was very proud of each of them. His grandson has special memories of snacking on cucumbers and bell peppers, wondering how he knew the answers to all those jeopardy questions and simply spending time with him. He will be missed and loved by all that knew him. His wife preceded him in death and he is survived by his four children and their families.
