David John Lodge

David John Lodge, 41, died from a heart attack at home January 28, 2014 in Oklahoma City. He was born in La Jolla California on Apr 12, 1972. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diana M. Lodge in Sep 2010. David graduated with a bachelor's degree in German from Rice University in 1994 and subsequently studied Linguistics at Indiana University. Self taught in computer software and hardware, he has worked in various aspects of Information Technology, most recently as the Web Services Manager at the University of Central Oklahoma. His highest priority has always been his daughter Brianna, around whom his world revolved. In addition to Brianna, he is survived by his brother John of Annapolis, MD, his father David of Oklahoma City, many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as friends and co-workers. Funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb 8, 2014 at 12 noon at Smith & Kernke May Chapel. Burial will follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
